The farm has come along way.... Missouri Vortex is not just a skate park in the middle of the jungle.. It’s also campgrounds, hiking trails and a fishing pond with paddle boats.... The days can be full of activities or just lounging in a hammock.. BBQ’s campfires and star gazing at night is common... and the skatepark has lights!! Also a few guest cabins and a livable treehouse!! Anyone who donates here please feel free to come visit!!

How to build a bowl above the ground....
This time laps showes 6 weeks of work on the steak pool. This Pool is built off the ground. Shallowend 5 foot deep, deepend is about 8 foot. A burnsidebank up against the first floor, 11 foot tall. Special features are poolcoping, deathbox and handmade roman-parkingblock poolcoping. The steak pool is part of the minus-ramps showroom.

Area 51 in Sweden is constructed under ground in a closed mine that has been sold, and redeveloped.
This man made cave provides a dry iceless place to ride skateboards in all types of weather..
The temperature inside this skatepark maintains a constant average of 58F all year without heater or AC!! And there is never any wind, rain, or snow.
Missouri has a few caves and old mines around.. Hopefully someday we can find the same kinda atmosphere to build a similar sort of facility right here in the middle of North America!

NEW BOWL DISCOVERED IN THE SNOW!!
Satellites over Mid America have discovered images of this mysterious new pool frozen somewhere in the Artic!!
Snow dog teams on cross country snowboards were dispatched weeks ago in search of this phenomenon.. Half the crew have finally returned having found nothing but frost bite, and malaria.... Like crop circles, many skeptics believe it was aliens who put it there!!
This birds eye view reveals the bowl must have an internal heating system which makes it impervious to snow and ice!! Imagine what super technologies could be learned by the capture and dissection of this poolish masterpiece!! Bringing The Streets to the Farm Land!!
After countless hours working and dollars spent we here at Hermann's Hole have finally decided to give the kids what they really want!! We've realized that we've wasted a load of time and tax payers money on useless transitions and bowls to skate. Even though you can't drive 2 blocks in any direction without seeing a manual pad, a wallie pole or a nice stack of stairs... We are bringing these obstacles to the Hole where we can do our free style tricks without being harassed by the cops.
We view our decision as a monumental move towards the future of Missouri Skateboarding in hopes that other parks in the St. Louis area that are wasting time & money building boring bowls and ramps will just start laying flat crete, stairs, euro gaps, and more slide rails. Look at Jefferson Barracks for instance.. If they had just put in a manual pad instead of a quarter pipe that place would be paradise! So wake up STL!! Go build a DIY manny box or hammer a pole in the dirt and sit on it!! Bowl skating days are over... Vert is dead!
Let us build something for skateboarding as unique and interesting as a parking garage!!
