Missouri's Vortex

We all know that strange things can happen in a vortex.. In fact that's what a vortex is, a place where strange things happen. For example.. Almost a year ago we came home to Hermann's Hole to find our neighbors trailer up side down!! Skeptics say it was caused by wind, but nobody really knows!! Others have seen old ghostly buildings in the woods that really were not ever there.. Running creek water has often risen over 5 feet in a matter of minutes for no good reason!! Also from time to time mechanical tools, cars, trucks, and machines all quit working at the same time for a few hours, sometimes days before they will operate again!!
Last week we caught the Vortex acting up on tape for the first time ever!!

Chipping at the Blocks...

We poured a few more yards of Missouri Concrete at Hermann's Hole this week!!

Getting D.I.Y. Skate Parks done is never easy..

But once you get started you can't quit!!

That's why we are working so hard to get more of this concrete jungle ready for skateboarding.

We installed Nature's Quarter Pipe for immediate spinal testing...

Quite a number of spine transplants had to be preformed.

We also added 7 ft of piano keys!!

Brick grinds are really great!!

Even a toad can see how much this coping needs some work.
