Thursday 9th of July we poured a huge section of flat with a pump bump in the 100 degree heat.. Battling hoarse flies, heat exhaustion, and possible malaria. It was no easy task!! All country boys did survive, and we had cold drinks into the night to revive.. The next day it all seemed like some kinda dream... Nightmare??
Young diggers from the city showed up Friday night just in time to help prep the corner pocket on the right of the bank to ledge.. Morning came soon enough, and the wall got done almost quicker than a pack of hoarse flies could come out to see what was up.
