Hermann's Bowl Is over 1 year old now!!
Keith Reese went big again!! Photos thanks to Hutch.
The party was a great success despite rain and floods!!! Which just proves once again that nothing can stop the forces of skateboarding..The river raised up high.. It was quite impassable for most of the 1st day but we came through with a small old boat for a ferry and everybody who was brave enough to leave their safe home in the city made it to the bowl for a roll. Oddly enough we had loads more outta town skateboarders show up than St. Louis based skaters. Well over 50 skateboards in hand made way into the valley's jungle.. From coast to coast peeps came from Maine, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Kentucky, Idaho, Indiana California, Kansas City & Timbuktu. There was a special guests apperances by Zubin Son of BOB from San Diego, Ernie Johnson of Nort Cackalack, and Dirty C. Williams mobbed up from the Gulf Coast taking noooooo prisoners.
Although a few St. Louis homegrown skaters did show up... Soup all the way from Ebers Street, CA, Deaf Brian, Lynch & Michelle of Show Me Pools,Spaceman Keith Reese, Jake & Scotty from Woods n Wheels, Stanley the dog, The Marine, John Goodman and who ever else was there.... It was a shredding good time!! Thanks to all that came out & helped.
Check out this report from Bloomington, In. Rise Skate Shop crew...
